The purpose of this animation was to show a figure losing and then regaining its balance. The class hadn't learned how to animate walking yet, so the person is just standing in place when this happens. I added the kicking-a-stone bit to give him a reason for losing his balance. It looks rather funny. My favorite part is the flapping arms.

This animation was drawn using paper, a pencil, a lightbox, and a pegboard. An x-sheet was used to plan the timing. The frames were captured using a mounted camera and everything was animated in DigiCel Flipbook.
