Bowling Ball

The bowling ball is dropped onto the floor, bounces only a tiny bit since it's so heavy, then rolls to a stop. I was very happy with the way the ball rolls back slightly before coming to a complete stop.

This animation was drawn using paper, a pencil, a lightbox, and a pegboard. An x-sheet was used to plan the timing. The frames were captured using a mounted camera and everything was animated in DigiCel Flipbook.
