Pritt Double Stick Permanent Adhesive is the Old Duck Brand Stuff

One of the reviews on the Jo-Ann website mentions that the Pritt Double Stick Adhesive Roller is the same product as the original Duck Easy Stick Adhesive Roller. From what I can tell, it’s true.

Pritt created the world’s first glue stick in 1969. The Double Stick Adhesive Roller is probably theirs.

Duck used to be owned by Henkel, the same company that owns Pritt. In 2009, Henkel sold Duck. Around that time, Duck released its “New & Improved” tape runner.

My guess is that, for one reason or another, Duck no longer has access to Pritt’s patents.

I looked but I cannot find the Pritt Permanent Adhesive Roller in Office Max (where it’s supposed to be sold). I can find it online, but the price if I were to buy it in a store is already pushing it; buying it online is stupid expensive.

If anyone knows of a similar product, please leave a comment and let everyone know!
